Mark and Hazel Hutton oversee the work of New Life Direct which is: The expression of Lincoln New Life Christian Fellowship (NLCF) in local communities, the region and beyond. We are there to make a difference!
New Life Direct is expressed through the lives of church members of all ages living in their local communities and meeting together in small groups, community based congregations, function groups and relating church groups.
When asked about how New Life Direct expresses the vision and function of NLCF, Mark stated that “We want to make a positive difference to the lives of people we meet, bringing hope, care, consideration, trusting relationships and faith in God, and we also want to be an expression of our faith to society today, where our worship of God is a lifestyle and our commitment and love for each other is a lifestyle.”
National and International Economic struggles impact lives in many ways from unemployment and problems with home budgets, savings and pension plans which all have a knock on effect throughout society. The Christian faith is based on the assurance of a God who cares about us, a hope for a tomorrow blessed by God and a knowledge that there a place called Heaven which Jesus has planned for those in relationship with Him to be with Him one day , awesome!. New Life Direct aims to connect effectively with our communities sharing the Christian faith, showing acts of kindness and fulfilling the Great Commission given to us by Jesus to make disciples.
The expressions of NLCF in Brigg, Grantham and Metheringham link directly with the Lincoln base through New Life Direct and further expressions are planned to be established in the coming months.
